Joint LogoThe Europe Region WAGGGS and the WOSM - European Region are pleased to announce that the TOP 10 event has been confirmed and will take place in Budapest from the 28th April until 2nd May.

All registered participants should have received a confirmation letter containing all the relevant information about this event. Travel can be booked to Budapest after reception of this confirmation letter.

All participants are entitled to receive a travel grant of 200EUR.  Terms and conditions will be specified in the confirmation letter.  The travel grant will be transferred to each sending Association through bank transfer at the end of the event.

The sending Association will receive the invoice for the participation fee before the start of the event.

                                                  Don’t miss the Top 10 in Budapest at the end of April!

 

TOP10The Top 10 will be a capacity building event aimed at the development of Guiding and Scouting organisations through the empowerment of their leaders.

It will address the top-10 fundamental needs of Guiding and Scouting associations in Europe in terms of organisational management.

The Top 10 will be held at the European Youth Centre of Budapest from 28 April to 2 May.

 

The programme will focus on youth organisations management and sustainability.

Participants will gain skills in the field of strategic planning, project management, external relations and advocacy, financial management and fund development, and volunteer management. Particular attention will be paid to developing core leadership skills, including succession planning and youth involvement in decision making.

On the basis of the successful formula of pick ‘n mix style of events, the programme will provide the opportunity to choose different levels of training for each topic proposed, thus allowing participants with different level of expertise to support their own personal development.

Participants will be volunteers, leaders and staff members responsible for strategic development or other specific areas of work who can actively contribute to the program of the TOP 10 and effectively feed back the results to their Association.

A participation fee of 150 EUR per person is required. Travel grants up to a maximum of 200 EUR per person are available upon requests.
