News from the 10th Centre Managers Conference

eXchange, eXplore, eXcite – Just Share It  

This was the theme of the 10^th Centre Managers Conference, which took place between 17-21 October in Banskia Stavnica (St George Scout House) in Slovakia. 

The Conference (which takes place every 2 years) aims to strengthen and develop co-operation among Guide and Scout Centres in the Europe Region WAGGGS and the European Scout Region and was an opportunity to look at the challenges which have been overcome, and those which need to be faced in the future. 

Fundraising, Programme, Customer Care, Public Relations, Marketing and Management of Volunteers were just some of the topics addressed in workshops during the Conference.  There was also an opportunity to present and exchange experiences in smaller groups.  Click here for the full report on this event.
